Michigan State University has partnered with Zipcar to launch a pilot car-sharing program for the MSU area. The partnership aims to promote car pooling, commuting and increased use of mass transit.
The program will put six cars on campus and will officially launch in January.
Swirlberry, formerly at 228 Abbot Road, appears empty and a giant “FOR LEASE” sign is posted in the window. A search of both the corporate and local Swirlberry websites did not share any details of its closing.
